Welp.. It's my 31st birthday today....
As I reflect, chapter 30 involved a lot of healing for me. I had to learn how to stay focused and faithful during times when all faith could have easily been lost. I had to step back and reevaluate what was important to me. Relationships changed, friendships changed... But it was necessary to heal.
I'm happy to say, I'm stronger than I was then and even though I still have my moments of falter... I am fully equipped to deal and get through whatever is thrown my way gracefully.
Chapter 31 is going to be a year of GROWTH for me. I can feel it. Growth in love, growth in my marriage... Spiritual growth, financial growth... Just GROWTH in general. I'm growing stronger and better everyday and that forces everything around me to grow as well.... and next up on the list is my business.
Since I picked up crafting as a therapeutic hobby, it has flourished into something more for me and I'm excited to share it with the world! (Or atleast to NC, since that's where I live. But one day.... the world.) I'm ready to introduce D.I.Wine!! The thought came to me years ago and I've slowly been putting plans into action and it's time to show it off!! D.I.Wine will be a place you can come with your friends to paint yo' plank and sip yo' drank all at the same time!!! I've had so many people to message me compliments and say stuff like "I'm just not as crafty. I couldn't do what you do." But REEEAAAALLLLYYY you definitely could! And D.I.Wine is where I'm gonna show you! I mean c'mon..... You can do anything with a little liquid courage, right?!
I am a bit nervous because this is me on my own starting something that has the potential to be great and that can be a very scary thing! You don't know if people are gonna like what you're presenting, let alone spend their hard earned money on it.... But you can't live your life in fear. #Fearless all 2020, right?! Exactly!! So if there is something you want to do, then DO IT!! Stop standing in your own way! I guarantee you someone is going to love it as much as you do.... And that will motivate you to push yourself even more. Trust me. How do you think I ended up here? If it hadn't been for my friend, reaching out to me to host a D.I.Wine party for her birthday, my website probably still wouldn't be up and running, and I surely wouldn't be hosting the first official DIWine party THIS SPRING, because I'd still be laying around just dreaming of it.
